Project on Nuclear Gaming

The Project on Nuclear Gaming (PoNG) is a University of California-Berkeley led effort, made possible by a grant from the Carnegie Corporation of New York, to explore the use of experimental wargaming in studying conflict escalation, deterrence, and strategic stability. In partnership with experts and practitioners from Sandia National Laboratories and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, the PoNG team is developing seminar-based games, board games, and online games that provide new data generating processes for conflict research.
